I am living a dream that began when I was in elementary school. It began with my 5th grade trip to Jamestown. My mom let me use her brownie camera to take pictures.When I was in junior high, I received a Polaroid camera for Christmas. I still have a few of those images around, including a faded image of Robert Kennedy's casket resting in the Rotunda of the Capital. Fast forward to the present and my photography has developed into a passion. I continue to improve my technique but more importantly I continue to learn who I am. My photography has helped me heal from bumps in the road called life. Some have been trivial but several have been fairly significant. My photography has allowed me to completely step outside of myself during those times and look at things from a different perspective which in turn helped me heal.

Now I am going to write a blog about my photography which will be a new venture for me. I hope you enjoy my blog and and perhaps you will pick up a few tips and learn something about yourself along the way!
